The location turned out to be better than it appeared when we arrived after 10 pm on Easter Sunday (most everything was closed). The Metro was convenient and we even walked to Notre Dame and the Arc de' Triomphe.
The room was very small yet expensive (compared to rooms in London and Madrid during the same trip). The hotel also seemed to be going through some sort of electrical or telecom renovation - there were exposed wires here and there in the public areas of the hotel. The room itself may have been going for that shabby-chic look but instead just looked shabby. The headboard was cheap, mass-produced particle board and the wallpaper was peeling. We purposely selected this hotel because it seemed authentic, but maybe next time we should just go with the Best Western.
We had a very nice view of the Eiffel tower and the room was very nice. Breakfast was pretty good.
The young gril in the morning was very helpful and friendly. The two males were not very friendly and full of themselves..
The staff, 3 different receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. The location is on the outskirts of the Latin Quarter making it a little bit of a walk to the center of the city, but the metro was nearby. The accommodations for the price was good. Good value. Nice breakfast. Under renovations when I was there, but it was fine.
My only complaint is I left the "do-not-disturb" hanger on my door and my room was cleaned. I would rather not have had someone enter.
Comfortable hotel, nice location. For city standards rooms are large enough, comfortable beds and good bathroom. Breakfast selection ok.
Small & crampy breakfast room. However with everyone in a good mood it settled itself.
Kind and helpful staff. Rooms conveniënt and cosy. Nice atmosphere.
Bed in children room aan bit small
Staff and services was eacellent and in a very nice quarter of Paris
Location Staff Size of rooms very good for Paris Price Breakfast
Wetroom - means floor gets wet and you have to walk across wet floor to toilet Cost of car park
Helpful reception staff, easy access to town centre, plenty of shops and restaurants in near vicinity .Have stayed twice previously.
The staff were pretty good. there was one that it took a bit for him to warm to us. The others were fine. The location was good, close to metro and buses. It was clean and nicely presented.
I ordered the classic room opposed to the standard room and it was for three (or four) people. It had two rooms but the first room with a roll-away double bed made it almost impossible to get in and out of the main bedroom to the bathroom without hitting your leg. The shower kept falling down and was very small. The breakfast was expensive and offered very little choices, subsequently we only had breakfast one.
It is in a pleasant area, good for restaurants. Handy for the metro, or walkable to Isle de la Cite. You felt safe at . Pleasant helpful staff. Breakfast was good.
Friendly, supportive staff. The main room was cosy with comfortable beds and pillows. Clean towels were provided each day.
There were aspects of the room that were tired e.g. In the toilet room paint was flaking, the bathroom was a little mouldy and had a shower system that soaked the room. In addition, I felt the cost of breakfast was too expensive at 12.99 euros per person and should have been included in the room price. Minor issue,..but the towels were small.
We liked the location, staff and rooms. The hotel was located close to the metro so we were able to navigate to other parts of Paris.
Excellent location, easy to walk to main tourist attractions or take metro; helpful staff on reception;
Dining room is exceptionally small for number of rooms and very cramped when busy; Breakfast was adequate but limited variety; Breakfast staff not super friendly; little english. Not great value for money, but then again, this was Paris.
Location and the bath room is quite roomy
The staff members on the first and second day never smiled
Room was quiet; staff friendly and helpful
There were problems with the wifi one day so I was unable to access it for a number of hours
